• Excerpts from the Digital Flagship Handbook, first edition - This work sample is excerpted from the published handbook that was distributed to 10,000+ incoming freshmen as part of Ohio State's partnership with Apple. The primary objective for the handbook was to inform new students about university resources and teach them how to effectively use their new technology kit. The voice of this sample is friendly, conversational, and relatively informal--a rhetorical choice intended to help the DF Handbook stand out amongst all the other guidebooks and user manual-type documents received during orientation.
